My first functional print (sorta)

We have recently finished the build process of a Voron 2.4, which is a community-driven DIY printer. It is a somewhat high-end printer, if you are thinking on 300$ printers. It is a cheap printer if you are thinking on 5000$ printers. FWIW, I love the design, there is a great community behind it, and the build manual has great detail. If you are looking to build one and it is within your budget, I wholeheartedly recommend it!
The calibration and first prints have been quick and straightforward --much better than our first experiences in the 3D DIY world. I remember a lot of pain and suffering.
The story of this entry starts with me doing things at home and seeing this unfinished DIY project at home:

This is a DC-DC converter that serves as a power supply for a tablet. We repurposed an old tablet with a dead battery as a home automation dashboard --without battery, so it has a small cable that plugs directly inside. This sits near the living room sofa. I don't mind the eyesore of the cables, but having a PCB exposed is somewhat ugly and prone to accidents.
This is how the story of this case starts. This case has become my first functional print as well as my first FreeCAD design. Also, our first DIY project that combines 3D printing. We are quite happy about it! Let me write a little more about that and include some photos.
I had some ideas on an easy-to-print case that could be fitted to this PCB --including the cable conducts and the extra capacitors. I had used OpenSCAD in the past, but I wanted to give a shot to FreeCAD. I have to learn a lot, but I ended up with a printable design that should work.
Some iterations where needed:

After tweaking some widths and internal dimensions, I ended up with a design that could be used for our purposes. I include some photos of the finished case:

We finished the green filament and had to switch to a purple one. I played a little bit with the infill patterns on the lid, and I have to say that the Hilbert Curve one is nice to look at! The photos do not make justice to its beauty, tough ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
